Winemaker's comments:
Pale straw with tinges of green. The bouquet of this wine exhibits lively tropical fruit aromas of guava, pineapple and passionfruit with underlying citrus and hints of gooseberry. Intense fresh fruit flavours continue on the palate and the long finish is balanced by fresh acidity. This wine is enjoyable now and with bottle age, it will develop further attractive flavour complexity. Cellaring up to 3 to 5 years.
Background Information:
Moondah Brook is a contemporary range of varietal wines sourced from premium Western Australian vineyards.
As a true expression of each variety, Moondah Brook wines are fruit driven with spicy full-flavoured styles. Intensity and texture, together with premium WA fruit, make them perfect food wines.
Moondah Brook - Bring out the flavour.
What's the Difference?:
A cooler vintage, with lower than average yields, provided high fruit quality and intense characters. Moondah Brook is Australia's highest selling and benchmark Verdelho style.
